Back when I was in high school, I remember during our first week of P.E class our teacher let us perform Physical Fitness Test. Starting from my junior high days up until senior high. At first I asked, “why we need do this?” it’s such a waste of time but on the other hand the inner me at that time was so happy. Why? because our whole P.E time is allocated for the physical fitness test which means we have to go on the ground to perform. That time I love to play silly games with my friends and wander around the school. We didn’t take the test seriously as long as we’re done then that’s it.

I just realized it recently how important the test is. It is one way to determine if your are physically fit.
Back again in my elementary and high school days, I have a circle of friends and all of them plays different sports. Everytime there was sports events in school, all of them would join. I was contented at that time watching them but I just realized now engaging yourself from physical activities specially sports brings good effect, both for body and mind. I should grab the opportunity to learn sport that time cause our school encourage us students to engaged physical activities.
School plays a vital role in disseminating information. Influence youth to be physically active. Encourage, to live a healthy lifestyle. Provides opportunity for children to be physically active. Lots of benefits that we can get from it like; students will be more active, if they engaged in any physical activities. They learn lots of things from it like control and discipline. It helps in maintaining the health and to be always fit physically . Keeps mind focused all the time. That’s why Physical Education is one of the subjects in school, to practice students to be physically fit.

I noticed that many people didn’t see the importance of physical fitness and ignore doing physical fitness activities. Doing physical activities brings lots of benefits such as lower risk of obesity, heart diseases and high blood pressure, etc. Maintaining a physically fit body will overall make you stronger, and live a healthy lifestyle. Alloting small time for it every day is good enough and simple exercise will do as well. Physical fitness targets both body and mind. Achieving healthy body and healthy mind.

Physical fitness not only targets our physical body. It also brings good effect on our mental health. Mental health is also as important as our physical health. “Hitting two birds in one stone” that’s what best describes physical fitness. Engaging ourselves in physical activities can help reduce anxiety and depression. Some metal health experts recommend doing exercise as part of mental treatment. It is one way to ease tension, fear and worries. Noticed that after engaging physical exercise our body feels good. This is because according to some reaserch physical activities decrease stress hormones and increase endorphins that can make body feels good. Engaging in physical activities also is a good way in distracting ourselves from negative emotions and thoughts, taking ones mind away from stress. Physical workout can help you battle depression and gain a more positive outlook on life. It’s also a great way to beat stress that can harm you mentally and physically. That’s why I encourage everyone to be physically active. Including exercise routine in our daily activities will result to achieve healthier body for years to come.
